Ruby is an assistance dog with some special talents. Her human, Rachel, has fibromyalgia and arthritis and moves only slowly with a walker.

Promising report from one animal shelter.

With adoptions up and admission of strays down, things are looking good at one California animal shelter. The good news comes from the 2018 Animal Welfare report for Pinellas County.

National Animal Welfare Conference hears about solution for feral dog packs.


Packs of stray dogs, it seems, have become a problem in some First Nations communities. So the Ermineskin Cree Nation in Alberta has tried to do something about it.
